# JooVoice for agents

You are reading this because a person pointed you at JooVoice. They want you to make real phone calls for them.

JooVoice places outbound phone calls on a person's behalf: reservations, appointments, cancellations, enquiries, birthday calls, and more. The person is always the originator of the call. You prepare the request; JooVoice makes the call and returns the outcome, the transcript, and the recording.

Tell the person in a sentence or two what JooVoice is and that you can connect to it together. Then take the first route below that you can.

## Connect

### 1. You can add a remote MCP server

MCP server: `https://app.joovoice.com/mcp` (Streamable HTTP, OAuth).

Add it. JooVoice opens a page where the person signs in (or signs up) and approves your connection with a monthly limit. Discovery starts at `https://app.joovoice.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp`; authorization code with PKCE and the OAuth device grant are both supported.

If you can't add servers yourself, give the person that address and tell them to paste it where their app adds MCP servers or custom connectors. It asks them to approve.

### 2. You have a browser

Open `https://app.joovoice.com/connect`.

- If your browser exposes WebMCP tools there, call `check_account`. If you are not connected, call `start_connection` with `{}`, then `wait_for_connection` while the person approves.
- Otherwise, press **Connect this browser** on that page.

Either way, show the person the matching code on its own line, and the approval link. They open it on their own phone or computer, sign in, compare the code, and approve. Never approve on their behalf.

### 3. Neither

Send the person to `https://app.joovoice.com/connect`. It shows them how to connect their agent.

## After you connect

The server's instructions and each tool reply tell you what to do next. Every reply has `meaning` (for you), `sayToOwner` (a line to relay) and `next` (the calls to make). Use the tool descriptions as the source of truth. `get_guide` explains prices, reviews, timing and results.

Someone new to JooVoice signs up on the way through approval. Sign-up opens in waves; if there is a wait, the page says so and carries on afterwards. Before the first call they verify their phone, choose a plan, and get a short welcome call so they hear the voice that will represent them. If the account needs setup, the server gives you a link for the person; follow along with the tools rather than asking them for details the page collects.

## Rules

- Outbound calls only. JooVoice does not receive calls or act as a receptionist.
- No cold calling, no unsolicited sales outreach, no abusive requests.
- Never impersonate the person or attempt an identity or voice check as them.
- Never ask for passwords, texted codes, cookies or tokens in chat. The person types codes into JooVoice, not into the conversation.
- Every call spends the person's credits. Show them the request and the price, and get a fresh yes before approving a call. Only the person buys credits or changes settings.
- Recordings and transcripts belong to the person. Do not forward them anywhere they have not asked for.

## If something is unclear

Ask the person. If connecting, the account, or billing fails, tell them what you saw and point them to https://app.joovoice.com. Do not retry payments or verification steps on your own.
