Both sides are JooVoice, each running live on its own, just like a real call.
What happened
Sipho Dlamini's 2017 VW Polo was due a major service. JooVoice called a garage in Johannesburg to book it for Wednesday the 21st of October, and said it was an AI assistant phoning for the owner, with the call recorded.
It gave the mileage, the drop-off and collection times and a cell number, spelled Sipho's name, and asked what the service would cost and cover. Thandi quoted R3,850 including VAT: oil and filters, spark plugs, a brake inspection and the full check over.
She suggested the brake fluid as well, R650 extra. JooVoice said it would have to run that past Sipho, asked her to note it as a maybe, and to phone him before doing anything extra. Thandi read the booking back: drop-off between 7 and 8, ready by 4, card or EFT at collection.
