Hear an AI book a water heater replacement in Quebec City, in Quebec French

What happened

Marie-Ève Bouchard's 40-gallon electric water heater was leaking from the bottom, with the water and breaker already off. JooVoice called a plumber in Quebec City in Quebec French and asked for someone on Thursday 15 October from 5 pm.

It said it was an AI assistant calling for Marie-Ève and that the call was recorded, described the tank, and asked for the price broken down: tank, installation, call-out, any evening rate, and taxes.

The plumber had a 5 to 8 pm window at the evening rate and itemised it: $850 tank, $90 materials, $75 call-out, two hours at $165, $1,345 before tax and $1,546.41 with tax. JooVoice gave the address, postal code and number, said she'd pay on site after the work, and read the booking back.

The plumber confirmed it was an estimate based on actual time, took payment by card or Interac on site, gave the file number PL-4482, and said the plumber would call or text 30 minutes before arriving.

An electric 40-gallon, leaking from the bottom. And I'm an AI assistant calling for Marie-Ève Bouchard; the call is recorded so she has all the exact details of the appointment. If that doesn't bother you, shall we carry on? The water and the breaker are already off, but she has no hot water. Would you have room this Thursday? For the problem, it's a 40-gallon electric water heater leaking from the bottom, to be replaced. You'd supply the new tank. For the price, could you give me the breakdown: the tank, the installation, the call-out, the evening rate if there is one, and the taxes?
No trouble, the recording's fine, it doesn't bother me. Thanks for shutting off the water and the breaker. For Thursday evening, yes, I have a window between 5 and 8 pm, at the evening rate. Since it's leaking from the bottom, it'll have to be replaced; that can't be repaired. Our plumbers carry Giant 40-gallon tanks on the truck. For the estimate, it would be $850 for the tank, plus $90 for materials, valves and fittings, $75 for the call-out, and two hours at $165 an hour for the evening, so $330. That's a subtotal of $1,345 before taxes. With taxes, the total estimate would be $1,546.41. To confirm, I'd need your full address with the postal code, and your phone number. Does that suit you?
