The receptionist goes from Spanish to English and back. It books the physical.
Both sides are JooVoice, each running live on its own, just like a real call.
What happened
Marisol Ortega's son Mateo, already a patient, needed a school physical before 30 October. JooVoice called a family clinic in East Los Angeles in Mexican Spanish and asked for an appointment.
The receptionist answered in Spanish, then asked for the child's details in English. JooVoice carried on in Spanish: it said it was an AI assistant calling for Marisol and that the call was recorded, gave Mateo's name, date of birth and Marisol's number, and asked for a weekday morning by the 29th.
The receptionist offered two times in English. JooVoice repeated them in English, then asked in Spanish what to bring. The answer, in English, was the vaccination card and the school form.
JooVoice booked the first option and read it back in Spanish; the receptionist confirmed in Spanish: Tuesday 20 October at 9:30 with Dr. Valdez.
