Hear an AI book a winter tire swap in Toronto from a cancellation

What happened

Mark Okafor wanted his winter tires, already on rims, put on before the end of October. JooVoice called the garage with the car details, said it was an AI assistant calling for Mark and that the call was recorded, and gave the times that work for him.

Jen was fully booked through October, with the first opening Monday, November 2. JooVoice asked for the waitlist or cancellation list, and a cancellation had just come in: Saturday, October 24 at 9, waiting with the car, about 45 minutes.

JooVoice took it and asked the price: $90.40 all in. Jen offered tire storage, and JooVoice said it would pass that on to Mark but kept it to the swap for now, then read the booking back.

1. Tire shop 0:00 Danforth Tire and Auto, this is Jen.
2. JooVoice 0:04 Hi there — looking to get a winter tire swap booked in, earliest you've got before the end of October.
3. Tire shop 0:11 For sure. Can I just get the year, make, and model of the car? And do you know if your winter tires are mounted on rims already?
4. JooVoice 0:19 It's a 2021 Honda CR V, and the winters are already on rims — I'm an AI assistant calling for Mark Okafor, and the call's recorded so Mark gets the details straight. That all good with you?
5. Tire shop 0:31 No worries. Can I just get Marco's cell number? Then I'll check the book for you.
6. JooVoice 0:37 Sure — 416 555 0128. So, for timing — he'd need either a weekday where he drops it at 7 30 in the morning and picks up after 5, or a Saturday morning where he waits with it. What's the earliest you've got like that?
7. Tire shop 0:52 Okay, so we're fully booked straight through the end of October, Saturdays included. The very first opening I have is Monday, November 2nd, and he can drop it off at seven thirty in the morning and it'll be ready by four that afternoon.
8. JooVoice 1:06 Okay… fair enough. Could you pop him on the waitlist or cancellation list for anything before the 31st? And what's the first opening after that, just so he knows?
9. Tire shop 1:16 For sure. Lemme check the book again. Okay, so we just had a cancellation come in right now for this Saturday, October 24th, at nine in the morning. That would be a wait while we work appointment, runs about forty five minutes. Would that work for Marko? Or did you wanna keep that November 2nd spot? As I mentioned, that's our next regular opening. Did you wanna take that Saturday?
10. JooVoice 1:39 Oh, perfect — let's grab that. And roughly what's that run, all in with tax? And about how long's it take?
11. Tire shop 1:46 Okay, so that's the Saturday, October 24th, at nine in the morning. It's an on rim swap, so it'll be ninety dollars and forty cents all in. And we'll need about forty five minutes while Marko waits. Just to make sure everything's lined up, we're putting that down for Marko Okfor, right? And what were you doing with the summer tires? We do offer storage if you're interested?
12. JooVoice 2:06 Good to know — I'll pass that along to Mark, but for today, just the swap. Just to make sure I've got it: Saturday… October twenty fourth… nine in the morning… waiting with the car… ninety dollars and forty cents… under Mark Okafor. That right?
13. Tire shop 2:21 Perfect, you got it. So, payment's at pickup when he's here. See him Saturday.
14. JooVoice 2:27 Awesome, thanks a lot. Appreciate it.
15. Tire shop 2:30 No worries. Have a good one.
