Claude Code setup
Claude Code can make phone calls. Just say “Set up joovoice.com”.
Claude Code adds JooVoice itself and you approve it once. Then it calls restaurants, clinics, banks and shops for you, in their language.
- 1
Tell Claude Code to set it up
In any project. It reads joovoice.com’s setup page and adds JooVoice, asking you before it runs anything.

Type

Ask for a call
Say what you need. New accounts get a short welcome call first, so you hear the voice that will call for you.
Prefer to add it yourself? claude mcp add --transport http joovoice https://app.joovoice.com/mcp
Approving calls
Every call spends credits. You choose who says yes.
Claude Code asks you before each call, unless you turn on YOLO in JooVoice with a credit limit. Only you can turn it on.
Standard
Claude Code asks you
It shows you each call and its price, and waits for your yes.
YOLO
Let Claude Code decide
Turn it on in JooVoice with a credit limit. Calls that fit go ahead without asking.
Ask for a call
Say it in your own words. It asks for what’s missing.
Who to call, what for, and when. If the other side will need something you didn’t say, like what works if they’re full, JooVoice asks before it dials. The result comes back to your chat, with the recording and the transcript.

Questions
About Claude Code and JooVoice.
MCP server: https://app.joovoice.com/mcp. To add it in every project: claude mcp add --scope user --transport http joovoice https://app.joovoice.com/mcp
Can Claude Code make phone calls?
Yes, with JooVoice. Add JooVoice’s MCP server with one command, sign in and approve the connection. Then ask Claude Code to call, and JooVoice places the call and brings the result back to your session. You don’t need a phone number, a Twilio account or a voice setup.
How do I sign in?
In Claude Code, type /mcp, pick joovoice and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens JooVoice: sign in or sign up, and approve Claude Code with a monthly limit. Claude Code never sees your password.
Can I add it myself instead?
Yes. Run claude mcp add --transport http joovoice https://app.joovoice.com/mcp in your terminal, then /mcp in Claude Code to approve. That adds it to the project you’re in; to add it to every project, run: claude mcp add --scope user --transport http joovoice https://app.joovoice.com/mcp
What does a call cost?
Calls are paid in credits at $1.50 each. A standard call is 1 credit and includes 5 minutes. Your first call is $1. There’s no subscription, and credits last 12 months.
What is YOLO?
A setting in JooVoice. With it on, Claude Code can approve calls by itself, up to a credit limit you choose. With it off, Claude Code shows you each call and its price and waits for your yes. Only you can turn YOLO on or change the limit.
Can I hear a call first?
Yes. New accounts get a short free welcome call to your own phone, so you hear the voice that will call for you. You can also hear a real call on the Grok Bot page, and demo calls for dozens of jobs at joovoice.com/calls.
What can’t it do?
It makes outbound calls only: it doesn’t answer calls or act as a receptionist. It won’t cold call or sell, and it won’t pretend to be you. It can share details you give it, like a date of birth, but never a PIN, password or texted code.
I use a different agent.
Any agent that can add an MCP server can use JooVoice: point it at https://app.joovoice.com/mcp. Or paste joovoice.com into the chat and it walks you through it.
Other agents
Set up JooVoice in another agent.
Your next call is one sentence away. One command first.
Your first call is $1. No subscription.
